Is Wexo free?
Yes, Wexo is completely free to download and use. No trials, no paywalls.
How is Wexo different from Discord?
Discord has been blocked in Russia since October 2024 and needs a VPN, and Wexo works without one. Screen share up to 1080p30 is free (Discord offers 1080p only with Nitro), the shop accepts Russian bank cards, and support replies in Russian.
Which platforms are supported?
The Windows 10/11 desktop app is available now. macOS, mobile and web are in active development, see the Roadmap for timing.
How do I create a server?
Open the app, hit + on the server rail, name your server and share the invite link. Done in a minute.
How does push-to-talk work?
Go to Settings → Voice and bind talk to any key: hold to talk, release to mute. No noticeable lag.
How do I invite friends?
Open a server, hit Invite, copy the link and send it to anyone. Links can be temporary or never expire.
Is my data private?
Your server, your rules: we don't sell your data. End-to-end encryption for DMs is on the roadmap.
The app won't open or update: what now?
Make sure you're on 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 and reinstall the latest build. Still stuck? Message us and we'll help.
